Let me set up a scenario. I am a homeless man, who owns a car. I would like to register this car, because I have enough money to pay for a car, but not for shelter. Shelter is much more expensive than a car. How do I register my car? I have no address, and no family and friends to provide me with one. I do not reside in one town, I reside wherever I land. I can provide services to scrap together enough for the car, insurance, and food, but no more than that. What do I do?

Why would you register the car? Most people don't realize by registering a car with the state they have joint ownership. Since the state never drives it but you do you have to pay the state for the useage of THEIR part of the car. Hence, registration, inspection, tickets, taxes, etc. This is analogous with holding allodial title to your land. You are the sovereign and complete owner of your property. If you have a deed of trust issued by the state for your REAL ESTATE then you are not the sole owner. Do you see the parallel?
